About

Transforming the experience delivered
to users, by positioning
UX/UI design as an integral aspect of strategic product planning

I work on design problems that don't have simple answers. Dense operational data, specialized workflows, and users who are domain experts themselves — that's the kind of work I get brought in for.

I spend time understanding how people actually work before I design anything — including traveling to be close to the people using the product, not just designing from a brief. The interfaces I build have to hold up to that complexity, not simplify it away.

What I bring is a combination of solid design craft and a practical understanding of what actually matters to the business. I've seen design decisions translate directly into operational and financial outcomes, and that's the standard I hold my own work to.

Portfolio

Below is a chosen selection of projects — an overview, not the full story. Each one involved more depth, more people, and more cross-disciplinary collaboration with users and colleagues than a single page can show. How I work?

Discovery, grounded in the real environment

I start by understanding the actual problem, not the brief as written. That means talking to and observing the people who'll use the product — operators, engineers, technicians — and understanding the constraints they work under before I design anything.

Stakeholders involved throughout, not just at the start and end

I bring stakeholders into the process continuously, not just for a kickoff and a final review. Their input shapes decisions as the work progresses, not after it's already been made. I've found this is where a lot of the real problem-solving actually happens — not in a single discovery phase, but in an ongoing conversation as the design takes shape.

Using AI to move from idea to interactive concept fast

I'm fluent with AI tools as part of my day-to-day workflow, not as an experiment on the side. I use them to turn ideas into interactive, testable concepts quickly — so stakeholders and users are reacting to something real early on, and validation and iteration can start sooner. This isn't just about producing design artifacts faster; it shortens the actual path from concept to a working part of the product.

Involved through implementation, not handing off and waiting

I work closely with engineers at every stage of implementation, not just at handoff. That means staying involved as the product gets built, catching problems early, and adjusting design decisions based on real technical constraints as they come up — rather than reviewing a finished result after the fact.
